Nothing is uploaded
eNameCard runs entirely in this browser tab. Your photo is read into memory on this device, recognised by an OCR engine that also runs on this device, and the resulting contact is generated here.
- No account, no sign-in, no cookies for tracking.
- No server receives your image or your contact details — there is no upload endpoint at all.
- No analytics. Nothing is stored on our side — we have no side it could be stored on.
- The only thing kept on your device is the OCR engine itself, about 6 MB of model files, so the next scan does not download them again. Never your photo, never the contact it produced. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
The engine downloads on your first scan and stays on this device.

OCR makes mistakes, especially on glossy cards. Fix anything wrong here — blank fields are simply left out of the contact.

- Mac: double-click the downloaded file and Music/Contacts will offer to add it.
